देहरादून। उत्तराखंड सरकार ने पूर्व IPS अधिकारी दलीप सिंह कुँवर को राज्य का नया सूचना आयुक्त नियुक्त किया है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की सरकार ने उन्हें यह अहम जिम्मेदारी सौंपी है।
दलीप सिंह कुँवर उत्तराखंड पुलिस में कई महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर कार्य कर चुके हैं। वे उत्तराखंड इंटेलिजेंस के पूर्व डीआईजी और देहरादून के एसएसपी रह चुके हैं। अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान वे अपनी कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और प्रभावी नेतृत्व के लिए जाने गए।
करीब एक वर्ष पूर्व वे सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे। 28 मार्च को उनकी नियुक्ति का आदेश जारी किया गया, जिसके बाद अब वे राज्य के सूचना आयोग में अपनी सेवाएँ देंगे।
उनकी इस नियुक्ति को शासन में पारदर्शिता और सुचारु सूचना प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देने के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।
