नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने मंगलवार सुबह इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय का कार्यभार संभाल लिया। वैष्णव के साथ राज्य मंत्री जितिन प्रसाद भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स निकेतन कम्प्लेक्स में मौजूद रहे।
वैष्णव ने मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि अगली सरकार का फोकस युवाओं के लिए एक मजबूत नींव तैयार करने और सेमीकंडक्टर्स, टेलीकॉम और मैन्युफैक्चरिंग जैसे सेक्टर्स में भारत को लीडरशिप प्रदान करने पर होगा।
उन्होंने कहा, ‘हम देश के युवाओं के लिए भविष्य की टेक्नोलॉजी में एक मजबूत नींव बनाना चाहते हैं… एक ऐसी नींव जो देश को न केवल दुनिया के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़े होने में सक्षम बनाएगी, बल्कि सेमीकंडक्टर्स, टेलीकम्युनिकशन्स और मैन्युफैक्चरिंग जैसी उभरती टेक्नोलॉजी में भी नेतृत्व करेगी।”
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पिछले एक दशक में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने डिजिटल इंडिया पहल के माध्यम से लोगों के जीवन में बदलाव लाया है। खासकर यह बदलाव जन धन खाते और आधार जैसी पहलों के माध्यम से देखने को मिला है।
उन्होंने कहा, ‘देश ने तीसरी बार मोदी सरकार को आशीर्वाद दिया है और हम आगे चलकर हर आम नागरिक के जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने की दिशा में काम करेंगे।’
