मथुरा: आज से 9 वर्ष पहले असामाजिक तत्वों के विरुद्ध जनहित में अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर शहीद हुये मथुरा पुलिस के दो जांबाज अधिकारियों (तत्कालीन पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर मथुरा, मुकुल द्विवेदी व थानाध्यक्ष, सन्तोष यादव, थाना: फरह की पुण्यतिथि पर वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्लोक कुमार, मथुरा व अन्य अधिकारी/कर्मचारियों द्वारा अमर शहीदों के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हे याद किया व मौन धारण कर भावभीनी श्रृद्धान्जली अर्पित की।
जवाहरबाग हत्याकांड के 9 साल
सरकारी जमीन खाली कराते समय शहीद हुए 2 पुलिस अधिकारी तत्कालीन एसपी सिटी मुकुल द्विवेदी और इंस्पेक्टर संतोष यादव शहीद हो गए थे. इस हत्याकांड में 2 पुलिस अधिकारियों समेत 29 लोगों की मौत हुई थी. आज से 09 साल पहले जिले के जवाहरबाग में जो हुआ था, वह सोचकर भी आज भी लोगों के रूह कांप जाते हैं. सरकारी भूमि खाली कराते समय 2 जून 2016 को सत्याग्रहियों और पुलिसकर्मियों के बीच हिंसा हो गई थी.
बहुचर्चित जवाहर बाग कांड और राम वृक्ष यादव
02 जून 2016 को मथुरा में एक सरकारी जमीन जिला उद्यान विभाग की खाली कराते समय कथित सत्याग्रहियों ने पुलिस प्रशासन के ऊपर ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग कर दी थी. इस फायरिंग में तत्कालीन एसपी सिटी मुकुल द्विवेदी और इंस्पेक्टर संतोष यादव शहीद हो गए थे. इस हत्याकांड में कुल 29 लोगों की मौत हुई थी. 2014 को स्वाधीन भारत विधिक सत्याग्रह संगठन के रामवृक्ष यादव अपने साथियों के साथ सरकारी जमीन पर 2 दिन के लिए धरना प्रदर्शन की अनुमति मांगी थी. लेकिन सरकारी जमीन पर रामवृक्ष यादव ने धीरे-धीरे अवैध कब्जा कर लिया. सरकारी जमीन को खाली कराने के लिए जिला प्रशासन को बड़ी कवायद झेलनी पड़ी और बाद में हिंसक घटना घटित हुई.
सरकार ने कराया जवाहर बाग का सौंदर्यीकरण
मथुरा जिला उद्यान विभाग की 270 एकड़ सरकारी जमीन पर अवैध कब्जा कर कर बैठे कथित सत्याग्रहियों ने जवाहर बाग को उजाड़ कर रख दिया था. कब्जा मुक्त होने के बाद सरकारी जमीन फिर से हरी-भरी होने लगी है. योगी सरकार के नेतृत्व में जवाहर बाग का सौंदर्यीकरण कराने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार ने 16 करोड़ रुपये का बजट पास किया. जवाहर बाग परिसर में ओपन थिएटर, म्यूजिक सिस्टम, वृक्षारोपण, योगा आसन, बच्चों के लिए झूले ,स्विमिंग पूल के साथ वाकिंग ट्रेक भी बनाया गया है. जवाहर बाग का सौंदर्यीकरण होने के बाद आम नागरिकों के लिए खोल दिया गया है. पूरे परिसर में घूमने के लिए शुल्क निर्धारित किए गए हैं. पूरे परिसर में हरे-भरे पेड़ के साथ लहराती हुई फसलें और बाग भी बने हुए हैं. इन दोनों शहीद पुलिस अधिकारियों के नाम से नवग्रह वाटिका भी स्थापित की गई है.
